2026.10.13-10.18｜野世信水展「あさっての夢夢夢Ⅱ」
作品展について
50年ほど昔に観た映画『明日に向かって撃て』を思い出しました。
追い詰められおびただしい銃口に包囲された二人は、「次はオーストラリアへ行こうぜ」と冗談を言いながら銃を両手に飛び出します。
そのラストシーンでのポール・ニューマンとロバート・レッドフォードがかっこよくて、印象深く残っています。
明日がないことは分かっている、けど決して後ろは向かない。
明日を語り、あさってを夢みながら、今を前向きに進む。
私は今73歳。
いろいろ不安なこともあります。
でも、後ろ向きにならず、一歩でも前向きに歩きたいと思っています。
私の絵にはタイトルもないし、何の意味もありません。
その時の気分で、一番ビビッとくる色と形を作っています。
その私のビビッが、今度は観てくださる人に共鳴して、一枚でも「おおっ！」と響いたらうれしいなーって思います。

I was reminded of the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, which I saw about fifty years ago. Cornered and surrounded by a multitude of gun barrels, the two protagonists charge out with guns in hand, joking, “Let’s go to Australia next.” Paul Newman and Robert Redford looked so cool in that final scene. It left a lasting impression on me.
Knowing there is no tomorrow, yet never looking back.
Speaking of tomorrow and dreaming of the day after, while moving forward positively in the present.
I am 73 years old now. There are various things that make me anxious.
But I want to keep moving forward—even if just one step at a time—without dwelling on the past.
My paintings have no titles and carry no specific meaning. I simply create shapes and colors that strike a chord with me based on my mood at the moment.
I hope that the spark I felt resonates with the viewer, and it would make me happy if even just one piece elicited a “Wow!” reaction.

1953年 福井県生まれ
10歳ころ、カメラを持ち撮影を始める。
高校の美術部で油絵を描く。
25歳ころ、一眼レフを持ち作品つくりを始める。
40歳ころ、写真クラブに入り公募展グループ展などへの出品を続ける。
45歳ころ、抽象写真を始める。
47歳、福井県立美術館で初めての個展を開く。
毎年グループ展や個展を続ける。
墨画を始める。
54歳、国際公募墨画トリエンナーレ富山入賞。
54歳から4年連続、立体造形で北陸中日美術展入選。
スキャナーアートを始める。
65歳、石川県移住
69歳、アクリル絵具やパステルで抽象画を始める。
71歳、抽象画だけの個展。
72歳（73歳直前）、今回の個展。
